Indonesia Improved Ease of Doing Business Ranks on 2015

Indonesia has improved its ease-of-doing-business ranking this year, and is expected to improve again in next yearÕs World Bank ease-of-doing-business report. According to Bank Indonesia (BI) senior deputy governor Mirza Adityaswara, this yearÕs report indicated an improvement in national business and investment processes. ÒDespite the survey being released prior to [IndonesiaÕs] economic deregulation policy packages, our ranking has improved. Hopefully we will be able to move up again in next yearÕs survey,Ó said Mirza at Surabaya, East Java, on Thursday (10/29/2015). The countryÕs ranking in the report stands at 109, up 11 places from 2014.
